
Company History
Founded by Lin Lin (she/her), songwriter and performing artist, the company grew out of years of intensive study and creative development at Berklee College of Music. Through coursework in harmony, songwriting, and performance, Lin built the skills to arrange complex compositions, lead recording sessions, and collaborate effectively with diverse musicians.

The turning point came during a collaborative studio project with fellow Berklee students. While working on arrangements, Lin realized that traditional jazz alone sometimes felt too academic for younger audiences, while contemporary R&B or Pop by itself could lose the musical depth she valued. In that moment she saw an opportunity to bring these together, creating a sound that balanced sophistication with emotional resonance. When her peers responded with excitement, it became clear that this blend could connect more deeply with listeners. That realization marked the beginning of the business vision and continues to guide its direction today.

Inspired by artists such as Jackson Wang, Tia Ray and Shan Yichun, the company carries forward the idea of merging Chinese and Western influences into a globally appealing sound, and focuses its work on live performance, recording, and OST collaborations.

In 7–10 years, the studio aims to expand into an independent label and creative agency that releases music, produces multimedia projects, and collaborates with brands across industries.
